Video Consultation
You do not travel to the hospital, and you do not sit alone in front of a phone. You go to your nearest BIMS clinic, a nurse checks you there, and the doctor joins on screen — with your vitals already in front of them.
Start to finish, most visits take about 30–40 minutes at the clinic.
No appointment needed for a walk-in. Reception registers you and confirms who you are.
Blood pressure, pulse, oxygen, temperature and weight — plus what is troubling you, your allergies and the medicines you already take.
The screen at the clinic shows your place in the queue and roughly how long it will be, so you are not guessing.
You talk to the doctor directly. Clinic staff stay with you. If the line is weak, the call switches to voice and the consultation carries on.
The doctor's name, qualification and medical registration number are printed on it, along with any tests advised and when to come back.
Nothing here is compulsory, but each one saves the doctor time and makes the advice better.
Video consultation runs from BIMS clinics. Call before travelling to confirm the day's timings.
More clinics are joining the video consultation service. Call 8570 807 746 or message on WhatsApp to find the one closest to you.
Most clinics run video consultation between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Emergency care at BIMS Hospital is available 24×7.
Chest pain, breathlessness, heavy bleeding, unconsciousness, a bad fall, stroke symptoms, poisoning or a serious burn need someone to physically examine you — immediately. Come straight to BIMS Hospital or call us.

For many problems, yes — because you are not alone at home. A trained nurse is with you at the clinic and has already measured your vitals, so the doctor sees real readings, not what you remember. When the doctor decides you need to be examined in person, they will say so and refer you, and that referral is printed on your paper.
Yes. It is printed at the clinic before you leave and carries the doctor's name, qualification and medical registration number, the date, and a consultation number. Any pharmacy can accept it.
The call switches to voice only and the consultation carries on from where it was — it does not start over. If the connection drops entirely, everything already recorded is kept, and you are put back in the queue rather than sent home.
No. The video is not recorded or stored. What is saved is your medical record — vitals, what the doctor found, and the prescription — the same as any hospital visit.
The doctor treating you and the staff of the clinic you visited. Nothing is shared outside BIMS without your consent, and consent is taken on screen before the consultation begins, in Hindi or English.
Not every medicine. Indian telemedicine rules bar certain categories — mainly narcotics and some habit-forming drugs — from being prescribed without an in-person visit. If you need one of those, the doctor will call you in instead.
The consultation fee is the same as an OPD visit at that clinic, and a follow-up costs less. Call 8570 807 746 for the current fee at your nearest clinic.
